Just graduated high school (finally--for months I've felt like I've been out of high school already) and re-read Notre-Dame de Paris. Am pleased with both circumstances. Realized all over again that Pierre Gringoire is a sweetheart. *sigh* Many new images--six on my images page, two on the Sketch Pad, and four under "Other Assorted Images" on the other images page. What can I say? I've been doing lots of drawing and very little updating. Also posted some photos of recent costumes on my Costuming Page. Unfortunately, also took down my Jane Eyre page, to keep as much space as possible clear for this terribly graphics-intensive site.

I added two pictures to my Images Gallery (I'm feeling industrious lately!), and I now have a gallery at http://cillabub.deviantart.com/, much of which is not Les Mis and about half of which is not posted on this site. After all, I need somewhere for the overflow of my non-Les Mis stuff...

I finished an Enjolras drawing in about two days, which is fast for me, so up he goes to my gallery. I hope to see Master and Commander again today (Combeferre's been bugging me for weeks about taking him to see it), so have happy holidays, everybody, in case we don't speak again until the new year. Added four (count 'em, /four/) drawings to my Images Page! Also added a sketch to the Sketchpad and an "Other Image" to the other Images Gallery. I'm supposed to be reading Troilus and Cressida and designing costumes for Oedipus Rex. And here I sit. *sigh* I hate Sophocles...Euripides is much more my speed when it comes to Orestes (mm, Euripides actually lets Pylades get a word in edgewise ;-D). Heck, I just like Euripides better, period.

Mid-summer. Ugh. Almost back in school. >:-P But I'm going to see League of Extraordinary Gentlemen tonight just to see how badly they screwed up Dorian Gray. Yay. I guess that's just about the same reason I saw Queen of the Damned, except it was Lestat that time instead of Dorian. Too bad Stuart Townsend keeps getting stuck in the middle of my "screwed-up-characters" grudges. But anyway, yes, I actually did update...I'm not rambling for no purpose. I added three pictures to my Images Page, two pictures to the "Other Images" section on the other Images Page, two pictures to the Sketch Pad, two pictures to the "other people" gallery, and three pictures to the Parallels Page. Hm, I should stop this binge-updating...it's not healthy. ;-)

Almost summer! *does happy dance* Too bad I have essays/college stuff/prep for senior year/volunteering to be doing all summer. But more time to draw, on the up side. I added a couple of Parallels, and a Joly drawing to my Images Page that I have been slaving over for a week or so. And 'Ferre got off his lazy duff and wrote in his journal. All I can say is, it's about time.

Ahh! It's so nice to be back! Combeferre thinks so too, but he would never admit it. ;-) I added a Parallels suggestion from Gabrielle, as well as a drawing to my Images Page and some pictures to my Costuming Page. I'll add more when I can actually sort out what I have and haven't put up yet. *sigh* Oh, and for those of you of appropriate age, or who aren't queasy about blood, I've been posting a story, "Leeches," on fanfiction.net that I won't be posting here (far too twisted for this page, plus my Combeferre can't stand it). It's pretty R-rated, but I like it so far.

Okay, so I don't have much substantial material to put up at this point...so what do I do? Remodel the index page, of course! ;-D Also completed the annoying but necessary task of splitting the Images Page into two different pages--one for my drawings, and one for other peoples' drawings (this second page also includes my other assorted images that were orphaned by the re-organization...<:-)). Added to my images page the painting that is now featured on the Index Page, and added to my Jane Eyre Graphics Page a drawing by Lusa.

I've gotten a bit behind on updating, so I'm gonna make an attempt to organize myself here, if only to please the resident anal-retentive (ie, Combeferre). I added to the Images Page a few stage door pics from long ago, as well as an Eponine drawing and a Joly/Lesgle one. To the Parallels Page, I added an entry under Gavroche, sent to me by Ela, and one under Bossuet, submitted by yours truly. Perhaps some time I'll get around to the other stuff that needs doing...;-)

Whew! By the way, Happy (late) Barricade Day, everybody. To celebrate the occasion, I finished a piece that seemed as though it may take me the rest of my life to finish: "Le Cinq de Juin." The complete picture, with all Amis added (sans Marius), is up on the Images Page now. And I think I ought to go get some more sleep, even though I have some other assorted things to put up. They can wait. Sleep can't.

I've got quite a bit to do, and I don't get enough time on the computer anymore to get it all done. *frustrated sigh* All I'm putting up tonight is one little Bahorel sketch on the Images Page, and one little Julien Sorel drawing under "Other Images" on the same page. Hopefully, I'll get some time tomorrow. :-) Oh, and I've moved all my old updates (ever since the opening of the site! It was about time that I got around to my housecleaning...) to a seperate page (see link at the bottom of the page).
